Sr. Account Executive

Reports to:  President & CEO

Summary:  We are looking to find aggressive sales professionals who have backgrounds in solution selling, and specifically in Technology.  This is an opportunity to establish ETS presence in the area and ultimately be part of building a team for the region.  We are looking for individuals who:

ETS is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  We work with small, medium and large enterprises to provide technology solutions designed to assist and streamline their day-to-day operations.  Our areas of expertise are Healthcare, Retail, Finance, Manufacturing, State and Local Government, K-12 and Higher Education.  We credit our company longevity with being able to evolve the business as necessary over the years in response to changes in technology, and most importantly the needs of our customers.  Evolution is part of our culture and we want team members who are not satisfied with the status quo, but instead team members who are looking for new and better ways of doing things to ultimately provide our customers with the best possible experience in technology and support.

Candidates must also demonstrate proficiency in the following: 

  • Marketing & business development activities to help solicit meetings and build relationships
  • Client research to develop a high-level understanding of current customers and prospects
  • Be able to solicit the right information to be able to understand and recognize customer pain points
  • Be proficient in coordinating internal and external resources to architect the right solutions for each customer
  • Superior presentation skills focused around identifying how ETS can solve the customer pain points through the use of appropriate technology
  • Project management once sale has been made
  • Documenting activities in CRM and keeping these current and to-date
  • Be proactive in staying informed of new products and vendors

Education:  Minimum of a two year degree required.  Four year Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Related Experience:  A proven background in Consultative Sales is required.  Experience selling Managed Services and Cloud Services a major advantage.

Other:  A valid driver’s license, current insurance and reliable transportation are required.
