This local county government organization had internally hired staff to support their technology needs. At one point they had 1 full-time employee and 1 part-time employee and the high expense of wages and benefits that came with hiring internally. Goals/Critical Factors
ETS offered access to a service team, instead of just an individual, to initiate quick response and availability. A Lead Engineer was assigned to oversee the IT environment and act as a virtual CIO to address long-term technology needs. This Lead Engineer is scheduled for regular onsite visits to address non-emergency issues hands-on.
The county was able to reduce cost by over 50% of what they were paying for internal resources by hiring ETS. Security has been tightened and they have been able to keep up with larger counties by increased technology efficiencies provided by ETS recommendations.
